Hey all – just want to bring your attention to this hilarious Tumblr account. I don’t know who this is, but he/she is on notice – come write for Frocktalk.com! Check it out HERE – COSTUMER OF AWESOME. We’ve been rolling on the floor for a few days here in the department. It’s good.
In other news, I’ve been live tweeting (to the best of my ability) the East coast feed of SLEEPY HOLLOW. Follow along if you dare @frocktalk – hope you enjoy the show, Frocktalkers! More to come!
Find me @Frocktalk!
Hey Frocktalkers!! Just letting you know that I am finally starting to get the hang of this Twitter thing and I have been tweeting my face off! I am tweeting links to other interesting articles about costume design in film and television, as well as JOB OPENINGS that come across my desk. If you have a costume-related job opening that you need to fill, send it on over and I will tweet it. For those of you unfamiliar with the way Twitter works (Mom, I’m talking to you) you need to create a Twitter account in order to follow my tweets. You don’t have to tweet anything yourself, and no one will steal your identity or track your movements. In fact, no one has to know who you are! Stay in touch and I’ll see you in the twittersphere! @Frocktalk
Frocktalkers, it is certainly a sign of the apocalypse: I have taken to Twitter. I have no idea what I’m doing, or even how to use a hashtag, but come watch me flame out and crash on social media in real time! I will be tweeting pictures of costumes, my handsome dog, and other beautiful objects I see that are somehow related to costumes. Today’s adventure – a trip to the Sony Plaza lobby, where (who knew?!) they have a huge display of costumes from various movies over the years. Check it out @Frocktalk, and be very afraid – I have no idea how to work this thing!!!!
Hey there Frocktalkers!! Make sure you follow the CDG Twitter account for live updates on all the costumes at Comic Con! They will be tweeting live from the Masquerade Ball – which is great, because I don’t recall anyone doing that in the past – get your Masquerade costume contest winners while they are steaming hot!
