Hello Frocktalkers! I think I am finally done with this show that has kept me busy all summer. It’s hard to have a life when you’re working – sixteen-hour days, exhausted on your days off – and I have missed updating you on all the interesting things going on here. There is a PLAY on now in North Hollywood celebrating Edith Head. There is a Star Trek exhibit on now in Riverside. AND, I want to let you know about a product placement hookup for filmmakers, stylists and TV shows: INSTANTLY FAMOUS! Now, have a good weekend and I will be back next week with more news!
Round one of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts’ nods is in. There are three rounds of voting. What follows is the “long list”, a list of fifteen contenders for the BAFTA. District 9 – Dianna Cilliers
An Education – Odile Dicks-Mireaux
